Everybody wants to know how much it will cost. While it is difficult to give exact quotes without the details, we wanted to share some numbers with you to give you a basic idea of our service pricing structure. We also list out some typical project costs; but remember, every project is unique and your project need may cost less than you might think.

Project needs are so diverse in the modern world it is difficult to create a package to cover everything. If you have unique or custom needs beyond our package offerings you can review pricing for various services we offer below.
We don’t just design original websites. We do graphic design for brochures, stationary, posters, etc… We can maintain an existing website on a daily, weekly, monthly website. It doesn't matter to us if you prefer some other shopping system, use Frontpage, Dreamweaver, GoLive, or any other WYSIWYG editor instead of hand coding. We are here to help you in the way that best suits your needs.

Monkey work Monkey work is what we affectionately refer to as Basic content/html editing, photshopping (cropping, resizing, basic color correction) , basic copywriting, data entry, and other labor that does not require advanced skills. The advantage of having [ i ] motion do your monkey work is that we are highly skilled monkeys that do monkey work well and quickly. NOTE: Monkey work rates generally DO NOT APPLY TO NEW DEVELOPMENT and is typically utilized for ongoing maintenance. |

Meetings and Consulting (beyond free 1st hour) While we hate to have to charge for meetings, the fact is that we see the planning and preparation stage as one of the most critical phases of every project. A good solid plan ensures that your project comes out the way you want the first time. However, the first hour long introductory meeting is always free. That way you get to know us and we get to know you before we proceed. And that is a free hour for each new project or major phase in a large project. |

Outsourced creative and IT department The fact is, maintaining a website, and building a successful company requires more than just getting a logo and slapping it into word documents forever or throwing together a website with your products and waiting for the orders. Truly successful companies take their brand image seriously and they update and expand their websites monthly, weekly, even daily. These companies have a department or company on retainer, constantly thinking and acting in their best interest. We offer monthly maintenance style packages that give the equivalent of an outsourced creative and IT department working for you. Basically you agree to hire us for X hours a month at reduced rates. When you request the Outsourced creative and IT department we discuss with you what your anticipated needs might be and work out the best price possible. Price is variable based on monthly fee. Each level of service also recieves a free amount of consultation and planning. The consultation hours are used to review your needs, decide what to work on that month, and research potential options for you. This is probably the most valuable thing you gain by hiring us in advance. Proper planning and research are what truly make a successful company. While the hourly discount is nice, the consultation hours are free and the real power behind our Outsourced creative and IT department arrangement. Examples: $500/mo = 1 free hour of consulting plus 9 design and development hrs or 18 hrs monkey work (At standard rates the same project costs $600, saving you $100/mo) $1000/mo = 2 free hours of consulting plus 19 hrs design and development hrs or 38 hrs monkey work (At standard rates the same project costs $1260, saving you $260/mo) |

Promarkit Core Installation The core installation of Promarkit is at the heart of our web design methodology. Promarkit allows rapid development of your website using our own ready-to-go php/javascript modular content system. Promarkit gives you the ability to edit your site content, add new content, and extend functionality with premade modules or custom modules. This fee includes the installation, configuration, and basic customization of the Promarkit modules you will be using. When installed during new site development, this fee includes the installaion, configuration, 2 hours of consulting/planning, 1 hour training, 2 hours customization of the system and 2 hours graphic design for your new site. And for the people who already have an idea of what they want with some content, photography, and branding already, you could potentially have a powerful new web presence for only $500. Other custom design work, photography, or programming are extra. NOTE: Promarkit is included in all of our web design projects. It is part of how we can keep costs down and develop new projects so quickly. It is open source software and the fee involves incorporating the system into your web presence in the best way possible. You are not paying for the system but the installation and customization of it. |
$500 1st site/domain $100 additional sites to control Promarkit is capable of controlling many websites from a single interface. The initial install is what we call the master site, and then we link and configure the system to control other domains off the same main install. |

NOTE: Promarkit installation includes making a basic design from your existing branding and images. If you don't have anything existing for us to work with or if you want a fancier design, then some custom graphic design hours are going to be needed. Module installation includes some basic customization to the default module pages.
NOTE: While these are our standardized pricing schedules, remember every project is unique and we can discuss special arrangements based on the scope of the project, the length of the project, and how regular a service might need completed. One of the advantages of working with a smaller more intimate company like [ i ] motion is that we are willing to bargain where it benefits all parties involved. See our barter page as one example.
